“Milender [attorney for plaintiffs] said the portion of the lawsuit about a conflict of interest involving Law-Evans and Taylor still stands, but they were dropped as defendants to streamline the court process.”

“The lawsuit, filed Oct. 24 with the 17th Judicial Court, also alleges violations concerning Open Meeting Law; failure to comply with the Colorado Open Records Act (CORA); ethics violation and failure to recuse; and spoliation of evidence.

Broomfield attorneys are expected to file a motion to dismiss the case in the near future.”
