The League of Oil and Gas Impacted Coloradans (LOGIC) would like to invite residents in impacted neighborhoods to help with the following efforts.  Broomfield Concerned is one of several neighborhood groups under the umbrella of LOGIC.

From LOGIC:

“We are down to crunch time in moving oil and gas legislation for our impacted neighborhoods and communities. People often ask how they can help and how they can let other people know. Here are three ways you can help:”

“1) Spread the word in key areas next Saturday, March 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The locations are below.”

“We will be knocking on doors, collecting postcards and asking constituents to reach out to their legislators and let them know that protecting health and safety MUST be the priority of the state and their local governments when it comes to oil and gas policies.”

“We will be knocking on doors next Saturday at the following locations (Click on the links below for the location maps):”

Commerce City:

Fairfax Park

6850 Fairfax Dr, Commerce City, CO 80022

Denver:

“2) Spread the word by making phone calls in key areas starting Thursday asking Coloradans to support common sense health and safety legislation on oil and gas.”

“We will be calling Colorado voters and asking them to reach out to their state legislators to let them know that protecting health and safety MUST be the priority of the state and their local governments when it comes to oil and gas policies. We will begin making phone calls to key districts starting on Thursday, February 28. Please let us know if you are available to help make phone calls. We can provide you with a dial list or you can make calls from your computer.”

“3) Ask your neighbors and friends to send postcards to their legislators.”

“We will be pushing postcards into Colorado legislators starting Tuesday, February 26. Please let us know if you would be willing to help send postcards to let our legislators know that protecting health and safety is MUST be the priority of the state and local governments when it comes to oil and gas policies.”
